Home for me has always been the small village of Upper Stewiacke in
central Nova Scotia. I left nearly
40 years ago but the village has never left me. This page contains a
collection of material about the Blaikie family, the community and the Stewiacke
Valley. I am indebted to all who have contributed and offered
encouragement in creating these pages. The internet makes it
possible to share these materials with family members and others who have
an interest in this corner of Canada that will always be my 'home'.
